Sculptra is an incredible, unique and advanced injectable treatment used for skin and collagen rejuvenation and to address signs of ageing. Sculptra has been scientifically proven as one of the most effective collagen stimulators to provide long lasting noticeable results in treating fine lines on the face and neck.
Collagen production sadly decreases as we age, and wrinkles are one of the first signs of the onset of ageing in the skin. Sculptra works by initially filling in a wrinkle in, before dissolving over time, leaving behind newly stimulated collagen in its place.
Unlike traditional dermal fillers, Sculptra is made from poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), a biocompatible and biodegradable substance that stimulates the body’s natural collagen production. The treatment involves a series of injections strategically placed in targeted areas to promote collagen growth and restore volume to the face. Sculptra builds slowly and steadily in the skin. This slower process means you must be patient because the results improve over time.
Three treatments are required typically two to four weeks apart.

As with every treatment, we will consult with you and determine the best approach to take to achieve your desired result. You will never be rushed. 1) Avoid touching or applying pressure: For the first 24 hours after your treatment. This will help prevent the spread of Sculptra to unintended muscles and areas.
2) Stay upright: Avoid lying down or bending over immediately after your treatment.
3) Avoid intense physical activity: Refrain from engaging in strenuous exercise as sweating can potentially disperse and shift the Sculptra before it has fully settled.
4) Avoid alcohol and blood-thinning medications: Steer clear of consuming alcohol and taking blood-thinning medications for at least 24 hours post-treatment. These substances can increase the risk of bruising and prolong the healing process.
5) Stay hydrated: Hydrated skin tends to recover more effectively and can enhance the overall results of the Sculptra treatment.

RESULTS
Results from Sculptra injections become noticeable within a few weeks to a couple of months.
