After Care
Aftercare for Anti-wrinkle Injections
While Cosmetic Injectables are a relatively time-friendly and convenient treatment, it can take anywhere from 2-7 days for you to see a difference, with the full effect visible after two weeks. Something to remember when you’re timing your treatment for a special event.
1) Avoid touching or applying pressure: For the first 24 hours after your anti-wrinkle treatment. This will help prevent the spread of the neuro-modulator to unintended muscles.
2) Stay upright: Avoid lying down or bending over immediately after your treatment as this can increase the risk of the anti-wrinkle treatment spreading to unintended areas.
3) Avoid intense physical activity: Refrain from engaging in strenuous exercise as sweating can potentially disperse the Anti-wrinkle solution before it has fully settled into the targeted muscles.
4) Avoid alcohol and blood-thinning medications: Steer clear of consuming alcohol and taking blood-thinning medications for at least 24 hours post-treatment. These substances can increase the risk of bruising and prolong the healing process.
5) Stay hydrated: Hydrated skin tends to recover more effectively and can enhance the overall results of the anti-wrinkle treatment.
6) Schedule follow-up appointments: It is recommended to schedule any necessary follow-up appointments as advised by your healthcare provider. This will allow for a thorough assessment of the treatment outcomes and address any concerns or questions you may have.
